Case Study: James Madison University Circus Themed Show

Peter Wood was called upon to craft a magical performance for a very specific situation. An event was held at the James Madison University (JMU) ballroom, and was intended to look like a dreamy circus, complete with vintage props, set decorations, and costumed actors.

The magic show not only needed to have material suitable for the time period, but also had to be performed completely surrounded by college students. Not an easy task, but the demands were met and the feedback from the performance was quite favorable.

Peter was assisted by his brother Matt, and together the Wood brothers performed vintage magic, including their Cane Cabinet routine, for the very enthusiastic crowd.

After the show, guests were invited to inspect the Cane Cabinet on their way out.
